The 54th round of Geneva International Discussions is set to be conducted on October 12-13. The talks will be held between Georgia and Russia, with the EU, UN, and OSCE being co-chairs and the US a participant.
Within the discussions, the parties will focus on all issues related to illegal actions by Russia and its occupation regime. A special emphasis will be made on Russia’s move to activate the annexation process, including the demarcation and delimitation of the Russia-Georgia state border, Moscow’s attempts to join part of the Aibgha village to its territory.
The Georgian government will raise the issue of unlawfully detained Georgian citizens. Additionally, the unfavorable humanitarian conditions in Georgia’s breakaway regions will also be discussed.
