The epidemiological situation in Georgia is deteriorating. Such a statement made today the Deputy Head of the National Center for Disease Control.
“The end of autumn and the beginning of winter will be very challenging. The situation is alarming. It all depends on how many people have been vaccinated. We do not count as the vaccinated population right now because about a third are vaccinated.
Consequently, morbidity will be very high in non-vaccinated populations. Unfortunately, mortality will continue to rise”, - said Paata Imnadze.
