Germany handed over monoclonal antibodies to Georgia

The Government of Germany handed over monoclonal antibodies, 3,024 doses of Casirvimab and Imdevimab, to Georgia.

German Ambassador to Georgia Hubert Knirsch said that “this is the result of successful cooperation between the German and Georgian governments”.

It should be mentioned that the monoclonal antibodies will be used in the treatment of COVID-infected patients. The monoclonal antibody treatment is used widely in the US, Great Britain, Japan, and the EU countries.
