“We discussed funding mechanisms of European Social Security System, the principles of financing various directions, such as pension, healthcare services, unemployment, accident insurance. We shared our experience in terms of German funding model of social security. Despite the fact, that German model is recognized as exemplary, it should be noted that this model is very costly. 30% of our National budget is spent on social protection services”, - stated European expert, Hagen Hügelschäffer.
