The Public Defender of Ukraine has arrived in Georgia. Lyudmyla Denisova plans to meet with Mikheil Saakashvili.

“I sent all the necessary documents to the relevant services and waiting for permission from the Ministry of Justice to meet with Mikheil Saakashvili.

Our goal is to get accurate information from doctors and lawyers about the seriousness of his health condition. We are sorry that a Ukrainian citizen is in such a situation.

What is happening to the third president of Georgia is torture and inhuman treatment that does not fit into any framework. People have the right to life, which is violated”, - said Ukrainian Ombudsman.
