Giorgi Gakharia’s party will nominate its own candidates for the position of Sakrebulo chairman in the municipalities, where the party is represented with decisive votes.

According to Kakhaber Kemoklidze, political secretary of the For Georgia party, they offered trilateral cooperation to the Georgian Dream and the United National Movement in local councils (Sakrebulo).

“We have to respond once again to the process that “Dream” has already started in the local governments - it is an attempt of the ruling team to approve the municipal budgets through the existing councils before the approval of the new councils.

When our citizens decided to vote for our party in the local elections, it directly indicated that the most important document for them - the budget should be approved by the new councils and not by the “Dream”.

We appeal to the ruling party not to continue political fraud and not to dare to approve municipal budgets before the convening of new councils”, - said Kakhaber Kemoklidze.
