Andrius Kubilius, MEP from Lithuania, said today that it is time to “move forward with the real Euroatlantic integration’ of Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova”. Such a statement he made while delivering speech in the European Parliament Summit.
Otherwise, according to Kubilius, “it will become clear that the future of these countries is sacrificed for the appeasement of [Vladimer] Putin”.
“The process of integration should begin from the Eastern Partnership Summit and be moved forward with a map for NATO membership…
Are we ready to succumb to the Kremlin’s brutal threats and blackmail on the future of Georgia and Ukraine? Are we ready to make new big steps in the appeasement of strategy of Putin?”, - said the member of the European Parliament.
He also compared Russian President to Hitler, stating that now [Vladimer] Putin is blackmailing the West on the future of Ukraine and Georgia, like Hitler did with Czechoslovakia.
