The Chairman of the Georgian Dream met today with the opposition regarding the constitutional amendments today. As Irakli Kobakhidze said, all issues are open on the constitutional amendments, which means that no decision has been made on anything.

“At this stage, all issues are open on this issue. It depends on many things how long the constitutional amendments will last and what the outcome will be, including, first of all, the actions of the opposition. We will discuss all issues. All topics are open, which means that no decision has been made on anything, we also need consultations with the parliamentary majority, including relating to the threshold, how many times the low threshold should apply, etc.

The only topic we have more or less clear position on is that no snap elections can be held until 2024. We got 48% in the parliamentary elections, in fact, the topic was closed then”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
