The final trial in the so-called money laundering case, in which Mamuka Khazaradze, Badri Japaridze and Avtandil Tsereteli are accused, will be held in the Tbilisi City Court today.

The defense will make a closing statement, the parties will make remarks.

Mamuka Khazaradze and Badri Japaridze were charged on July 24, 2019 with legalizing USD 16,664,000 in illegal income, which was accompanied by receiving a particularly large amount of income. Avtandil Tsereteli is accused in helping Japaridze and Khazaradze to legalize illegal income.
