Kakha Kuchava will be replaced by Gia Tsagareishvili in the legislature after the termination of his parliamentary mandate.

He follows Kuchava in the election list of the ruling party.

“The issue was discussed at both the Political Council and the majority session. Kakha Kuchava explained the reasons for resigning as the Speaker of the Parliament. He is quitting the parliamentary mandate along with the post of the Chairman of the Parliament and is leaving the legislature”, - said Guram Macharashvili, First Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Procedural Issues and Rules.
