Shalva Papuashvili elected as Chairman of the Parliament

Shalva Papuashvili, nominated for the position of the Speaker of the Parliament, was elected by 88 votes. One member of legislature voted against.

Before the voting, Papuashvili addressed the Parliament and answered the questions of the MPs.

This was followed by speeches by members of the legislature.
