President pardons prisoners for New Year

President of Georgia has pardoned 14 prisoners. According to the existing information, 9 of them will leave prison today, December 31.

The prison term for 1 of them was reduced, and 4 others were freed from preventive detention, home imprisonment, and restriction of the driving right.

The pardon act was signed by Salome Zourabichvili today.
