The Ministry of Energy has made a comment on the possible problems that Georgia was reported to be facing regarding Georgia’s gas supply from Azerbaijan after Georgia’s Competition Agency fined several oil companies.
The Energy Ministry’s representative claimed that the abovementioned is not true.
"The multi-year strategic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Georgia in the energy field continues and does not face any danger, and long-term agreements signed between the state companies in the gas supply field are proof of this.
Moreover, our partnership in regional and international projects is discussed at meetings held systematically between the Azerbaijani and Georgian sides,”- says the Ministry’s statement.
