Mikheil Saakashvili agrees with the initiative of the United National Movement to go to the regions and the announcement of the day of national mobilization. The former president wrote about this om his Facebook page.

The Georgian people have already responded to the regime in the last 3 elections, and since the elections, as an institution, have been abolished, this time they will respond with a very strong, civil protest in the streets - October 14 was only the first swallow.

I agree with the UNM going to the regions and also declaring a day of general national mobilization, the main purpose of which will be to gather and not to disperse until early elections are called and I am not able to get out of illegal captivity.

In the conditions of my participation in the election campaign and mobilization of the people (which we are planning), the Georgian society will win the snap elections with a great advantage”, - writes Mikheil Saakashvili.
