Phone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs David Zalkaliani and the NATO Deputy Secretary General Mircea Geoană.
According to the Minister, this telephone conversation is a confirmation of the constant attention paid to Georgia to its partners.
“The talks focused on the process of negotiations on European security between Russia and NATO allies.
I once again received assurances today from the NATO Deputy Secretary General that NATO does not intend to reconsider its position on Georgia, that it is consistent in its decisions and that European security is based on the security of its partners. Close communication with partners on this issue will continue and various further activities are planned in the near future”, - said David Zalkaliani.
