The Committee on Procedural Issues and Rules addresses the Parliament with a recommendation to terminate the mandates of Shalva Natelashvili and Elene Khoshtaria.

This conclusion was supported by a majority of votes.

The termination of the mandates for these MPs is based on the entry in the Constitution and the Rules of Procedure, according to which, if a member of legislature does not attend more than half of the following sittings during the following session due to invalid reasons, his / her term should be terminated.

Besides, the Committee considers that the mandate of MP Badri Japaridze should be terminated.

The relevant conclusion is based on the norm of the Constitution and the Rules of Procedure of Georgia, according to which, if a member of Parliament is found guilty by a court judgment that has entered into force, his / her authority should be terminated.
