Mikheil Saakashvili trial - Tako Charkviani removed from courtroom

Mikheil Saakashvili’s trial is underway in the Tbilisi City Court.

Tako Charkviani, the leader of the Law and Justice party, was removed from the courtroom after saying “it is a shame when corrupt people try a 3rd president. This trial is shameful”.

Her comments came after Mikheil Saakashvili called the prosecutors “traitors” while attending a trial hearing on the embezzlement of state funds for personal purposes.
