Prime Minister appointed Otar Danelia to the position of the Business Ombudsman of Georgia.
Irakli Garibashvili met Otar Danelia at the Government Administration and wished him every success in the new capacity.
The Head of Government highlighted that support of the private sector is a priority of the national authorities and the referred sector will be given maximum support, as facilitation of business is a prerequisite of economic growth and employment in the country.
The Prime Minister gave specific instructions to the newly-appointed Business Ombudsman and noted that open cooperation with the private sector, few barriers and least bureaucracy are essential. Meeting was also focused on the significance of greater ease of corporate access to public services.
Otar Danelia has been First Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development so far, while Nino Kvetenadze, Deputy Business Ombudsman has been serving as Acting Business Ombudsman up until today.
