The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia is recommending the staff of the Embassy of Georgia in Ukraine to evacuate their family members from Kiev.
According to the agency, the Head and staff of the Georgian diplomatic mission in Ukraine remain on the ground. Georgian diplomats were only advised to evacuate their family members to leave the country if they wished so.
Russia recognized the “independence” of Donetsk and Luhansk. Due to the recent situation, some countries have stopped operating their own embassies in Kiev and evacuated staff.
