A rally in support of Ukraine is being held on Rustaveli Avenue. Demonstrators are marching from the Republic Square to the Freedom Square.

Civic activists and politicians have also joined the solidarity rally.

Besides, Georgian citizens and businesses have offered free overnight accommodation and other types of assistance to Ukrainian citizens in the country and are unable to return to Ukraine due to the start of a military invasion of the country by Russian forces earlier today.
