One million GEL’s worth of humanitarian goods will be sent to Ukraine. Today, the Ukrainian Ambassador visited Georgia’s Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Health, Labor and Social Affairs.
Information about humanitarian aid was provided to the Ambassador through Head of the Government Administration Ilia Darchiashvili and Zurab Azarashvili, Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Health, Labor and Social Affairs.
The Ambassador thanked the Georgian Government for assistance and support.
The humanitarian cargo to be sent to Ukraine includes thousands of first-aid products, more than 30 different kinds of medications, and oxygen concentrators.
Several pharmaceutical companies and clinics committed to participating in the procurement of humanitarian goods by the Government of Georgia by donating medical equipment and a portion of pharmaceuticals. Georgia’s humanitarian aid will be delivered via Warsaw to arrive in Ukraine tomorrow.
