On behalf of our government, I want to express our full solidarity and support for the Ukrainian people and Ukraine. Such a statement made today the Prime Minister of Georgia.

“I want to start by expressing solidarity with our Ukrainian friends. What is happening in Ukraine is very hard to watch. On behalf of our Government, I would like to reiterate our full solidarity and support for the Ukrainian people and Ukraine. We support Ukraine at all international levels. We support it politically and of course we will continue to do so. Besides, I want to tell the population that as of today, 140 tons of humanitarian aid have been sent to Ukraine to help Ukrainian citizens and of course this process will continue. We will send even more humanitarian aid to Ukraine.

Our Embassy is doing its best. As you know, our Ambassador stays in Ukraine until the last day and is still in Ukraine, he left Kyiv just a few days ago. We will control this process to the end so that none of our fellow citizens who are in Ukraine are left without attention”, - said Irakli Garibashvili.
