So-called Luhansk People’s Republic recognizes independence of occupied Abkhazia

The so-called Luhansk People’s Republic [LPR] recognized the independence of occupied Abkhazia. The decree has been signed by Leonid Pasechnik, the de facto leader of the LPR.

“Citizens of Abkhazia, as well as the people of Donbas, know how difficult it is to protect a homeland from invaders, to protect truth and justice. During the difficult, tense time for our republic, Abkhazia, after Russia, was one of the first to respond to the desire for freedom of the people of our state. It recognized the sovereignty and independence of the LPR”, - said Pasechnik.
