The leader of Strategy Aghmashenebeli calls on authorities to create an expanded format of the National Security Council with the involvement of opposition.

“Now is not the time for internal confrontation and narrow political and partisan interests. The political and economic security of the country and the process of integration into the European Union are the priorities and challenges to which the Government and the state must respond immediately. We have no time to lose.

We once again call on the authorities to start joint consultations with our Western partners and to establish an expanded format of the National Security Council, with the joint involvement of the authorities and the opposition, with the aim of: ensuring peace and national security; facilitating the accelerated EU integration process and monitoring the timely implementation of commitments; developing and implementing an economic and energy security strategy.

We call on the Prime Minister, the Chairman of Parliament and the Chairperson of the Georgian Dream to take a position on our proposal in the near future”, - said Giorgi Vashadze.
