The Central Election Commission (CEC) summarized the final results of the 2 April 2022 parliamentary by-election of Georgia at today’s meeting. According to summary protocol, Irakli Shatakishvili (N41 “Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia) was elected as a member of the parliament of Georgia by majoritarian representation at N12 majoritarian electoral district which comprised Rustavi and part of Gardabani.

It is noteworthy that Election Day as well as subsequent electoral procedures were conducted in line with the legislation.

Voters had an opportunity to make their own choice in a safe and calm environment for their health.
