In any case, we will leave for Ukraine, express our condolences to our Ukrainian friends and express our support. Such a statement made today the Vice Speaker of the Parliament.
“As for the composition of the delegation, it is a matter of the dignity of our country, so we are not going to trade or argue about who should go and who should not. The Speaker showed a very dignified position at the meeting, where he offered the opposition to take part in the delegation. I hope that before we leave, the opposition will formulate its decision so that it does not become detrimental to the country and, above all, to them. In any case, we will leave for Ukraine, express our condolences to our Ukrainian friends and express our support.
There will be 3 representatives of the parliamentary majority together with the Speaker of the Parliament, as for the opposition, it depends on them and will be known by the end of the day. We are not going to trade quotas, quantities, numbers or poster colors when it comes to issues such as expression of our condolences to Ukraine, our support and our visit”, - said Archil Talakvadze.
