Giorgi Tkemaladze, Chairman of Tbilisi City Municipal Assembly, and Nino Osepashvili, Secretary-General of Georgia Red Cross Society signed the memorandum.

The parties are going to support the socially vulnerable community with medical aid in Ukraine. Georgia Red Cross Society has a responsibility to purchase medication with donated funds and deliver them to the Ukrainian Red Cross Society.

“Tbilisi City Municipal Assembly, together with Georgia Red Cross Society and the private sector will significantly contribute humanitarian aid to Ukraine. I want to thank all of the participants, the Assembly, and the staff members, also private companies, who were eager to take part in this process”, - said Giorgi Tkemaladze.

“We have purchased medical drugs for socially vulnerable people. Moreover, Tbilisi City Municipal Assembly signed the memorandum with Georgia Red Cross, who will ensure delivering medication to Ukrainian Red Cross”, - added Zurab Chikviladze.
