The Vice-Speaker and the Head of the Friendship Group with the Parliament of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Archil Talakvadze met with the Head of the Azerbaijan-Georgia Friendship Group, Arzu Nagiyev.

At the meeting, Azerbaijan’s delegation reaffirmed its support for Georgia on behalf of its own country.

According to Archil Talakvadze, the Georgian side highly values these relations.

“We discussed the main issues on the agenda, which have persisted in the two countries" relations for years and decades. It is essentially about ensuring regional security and stability. Georgia has made a modest contribution to regional security and stability, and will continue to do so. We also discussed political links between the parliaments and expanded on the economic relations, and it is critical that Azerbaijan remains one of the strongest allies for Georgia in the region”, - said Archil Talakvadze.
