I am personally sending a request to the Emory University Clinic in the United States to express their readiness to conduct a complex medical examination of Mikheil Saakashvili’s condition. Such a statement made today opposition MP Tamar Kordzaia.

“As a lawyer, I appeal to him that Mikheil Saakashvili, as a party to the trial, has the right to request an expert examination and the court must satisfy this request. As the trial is delaying this process and the Minister of Justice is doing nothing to make it happen, I, as a Member of the Georgian Parliament, am personally sending a request to the Emory University Clinic to express their readiness to conduct a complex medical examination of Saakashvili”, - added Tamar Kordzaia.
