The President of Romania responds to today’s decision of the European Commission on the status of Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova on his personal Twitter page.

“After months of intense dialogue and coordination, I am very glad to welcome European Union’s Commission opinions on granting European Union’s candidate status to Ukraine and Moldova.

This is a well deserved step forward for the citizens of Ukraine and Moldova. We will continue to actively support Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia becoming part of the European Union family!”, - tweeted Klaus Iohannis.
