The trial of Mikheil Saakashvili on the case of illegal border crossing is expected to be held today.

The hearing is scheduled for 14:00.

Defendant’s lawyers are still talking about the political motives for former president’s arrest. They are unable to specify whether the convicted Saakashvili will be able to attend the trial.
