The strategic partnership between Georgia and the United Kingdom, and the close friendly relations between the two countries, were the key topics of today’s meeting between Georgian Prime Minister and UK Prime Minister.
Irakli Garibashvili thanked Boris Johnson for firmly supporting Georgia’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and Euro-Atlantic integration, also expressing hope for deeper partnership alongside further democratization and reforms.
The meeting focused on the close cooperation between the two countries across a variety of areas, also pointing out the strategic dialogue format and cooperation in a number of directions as driving forces advancing the relations between the two countries to a new level. Garibashvili invited Johnson to Georgia at the latter’s convenience.
