The opposition-initiated parallel process of fulfilling the 12-point recommendations of the European Union has been launched in the Parliament.

The working groups will prepare alternative legislative packages and submit them to the legislature for initiation.

Representatives of the Strategy Aghmashenebeli, Lelo for Georgia and United National Movement meet with non-governmental organizations within the framework of working group on election issues.

The groups working on justice issues and anti-corruption issues will also meet today.

“We have a remarkably orderly and correct strategy. It might be difficult for some to grasp our work, but it is a simple matter. Many laws require elaboration before September so that we exactly know what we have to do regarding the 12 points [by EC]”, - said Giorgi Vashadze, the leader of the Strategy Aghmashenebeli.
