Tornike Shengelia got the worst injury in the match against the Netherlands, yesterday, August 25.

Georgia’s national basketball team defeated the Netherlands in the second round of a match for the 2023 World Cup Qualifiers with a score 77:66.

Shengelia, the team captain, becoming the top scorer for the team with 20 points and Worthy De Jong scoring 22 points for the Netherlands becoming the top scorer in the match. He left the court with a shoulder injury in the 3rd quarter and will need a surgery.
