The employees of Kakheti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of immediate operative and investigative activities arrested Sh. Kh., (DoB 1995) for the attempted murder against a family member.

The crime envisions from 16 to 20 years or life imprisonment.

In the course of the investigation, it was established that the accused person, during the conflict, that arose in the village of Bodbe, Sighnaghi municipality, wounded his wife - M.A., (DoB 1995) in the head area by a shot from a hunting rifle. The wounded woman was taken to the hospital.

The law enforcement officers arrested Sh. Kh. shortly after the incident, as a result of immediate activities.

The police seized the weapon of crime - a hunting rifle as evidence.

The investigation into the fact of the attempted murder against a family member is being conducted under Article 19-109 (11) of the Criminal Code of Georgia, subsection “K”.
