Police are mobilized near the US Embassy in Tbilisi. According to the existing information, minesweepers are working in the surrounding area.

As the US Embassy says, they appreciate the support and cooperation provided by the law enforcement agencies of Georgia, in terms of responding to the security situation on the territory of the Embassy today.

There is no other official information regarding the issue so far.

As the State Security Service of Georgia says later, “nothing suspicious” was found at the US Embassy.
