The Prime Minister of Georgia issued a strong condemnation of the violent assault on the Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico.

Irakli Kobakhidze conveyed heartfelt solidarity and support to Robert Fico.

“We strongly condemn the brutal and reckless attack on Robert Fico, Prime Minister of Slovakia. Our thoughts are with him and the people of Slovakia during this challenging time”, - writes the Georgian Prime Minister.

Robert Fico was shot multiple times in an assassination attempt after a government meeting and is in a life-threatening condition in hospital.
