Shalva Papuashvili meets the newly appointed Ambassador of Iran to Georgia

The Speaker of the Parliament Shalva Papuashvili held a meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mahmoud Adib.

The parties overviewed the cooperation between Georgia and Iran in the Parliamentary and trade-economic directions and highlighted the importance of Georgia as a middle corridor, as well as the enhancement of cooperation in various spheres.

The parties went through the details of the processes in the region and underlined the importance of peace.

The Speaker wished the Ambassador good luck in his further activity.
