The Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia held a farewell meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic, Diego Colas. The First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs-Shalva Bedoidze also attended the meeting.

Vakhtang Gomelauri expressed gratitude to the Ambassador of the French Republic for his firm support to Georgia and contribution to the development and capacity building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

During the meeting, the Ambassador introduced newly appointed internal security attache of the French Republic - Olivier Lefebvre to Vakhtang Gomelauri.

Gomelauri and Bedoidze congratulated internal security attache on his appointment on the post, wished success in future activities and expressed hope that existing cooperation between the parties will be further enhanced by joint efforts.
