The 145th IPU Assembly, taking place this week in Kigali, Rwanda, has voted to debate an emergency resolution entitled Condemnation of the invasion of Ukraine and of the subsequent annexation of territories in defence of the territorial integrity of all States.

The resolution was submitted by the parliamentary delegation of Chile and the members of the Group of Latin America and the Caribbean parliaments.

The resolution was supported by the parliamentary delegation of Georgia, led by the Chairman of the Parliament.
