Iago Khvichia, MP from Girchi, responds to the evaluation of the Public Defender candidates by the 9-member group and noted that he did not expect support from the non-governmental sector.
„In general, I think it was clear to everyone that NGOs would not give me a score, so it happened. I think the main mistake we made in selecting these people is that we made them work for free.
If you look at the evaluation criteria, you will understand how poor the quality of the work is, because we make them work for free. You know that NGOs are my enemies, therefore, I do not expect friendship from them.
It was clear that they would support each other and not their rival. When I used to evaluate students at the university, I was explaining much more clearly why I was writing that grade”, - said Iago Khvichia.
