The founder of Mtavari Arkhi Nika Gvaramia found guilty by the Tbilisi Court of Appeals.

Accordingly, the prison term of 3 years and 6 months sentenced by the Tbilisi City Court remains in force.

As for Kakhaber Damenia and Zurab Yashvili, the defendants along with Nika Gvaramia, the ruling made by the Tbilisi City Court remained valid in this case too [Damenia was fined GEL 50,000, while Iashvili was found innocent].

On September 6, 2020, the General Prosecutor’s Office indicted Nika Gvaramia, as well as Kakha Damenia, the former financial director of Rustavi 2, and Zurab Yashvili, the director of Inter Media Plus, in the Rustavi 2 case.

Nika Gvaramia was accused of embezzlement of a large amount of property rights belonging to Rustavi 2 by the group with a prior agreement, commercial bribery, forging of false documents, and legalization of illegal income.
