Human Rights Protection Committee will support all the candidates nominated for the Public Defender’s position, who have not withdrawn their candidacies and participated in the interview process. Such a statement made today the Chairman of the Committee.

“Political consultations are currently underway to find out which candidate has the potential to get 90 votes.

In order not to hinder the process, we decided to support all the candidates, who were considered by the Committee and who participated in the process, and to leave the issue for the plenary session to make a decision”, - said Mikheil Sarjveladze.
