According to the Prime Minister, GEL 65 million will be spent in support of socially vulnerable children in the country.

The Government intends to increase the social allowances in 2023 year in every direction, be that pensions, allowances to persons with disabilities and others.

“We will add support for socially vulnerable children to the above and it will be increased. It was not envisaged in the previous Draft Budget for 2023. You may well be aware that GEL 50 was paid out per child 2 years ago, if I am not mistaken, and it will become GEL 200 from July 1, 2023. Each child will be earmarked GEL 200 a month and, what is most important, GEL 65 million will be spent next year towards this end”, - said Irakli Garibashvili.
