EU plans move fast-forward to ensure that this physical connection between Georgia and the wider region, to the EU, will materialize asap - Pawel Herczynski

EU plans move fast-forward to ensure that this physical connection between Georgia and the wider region, to the European Union, will materialize as soon as possible. Such a statement made today the EU Ambassador to Georgia.

“Middle corridor is an extremely important vision to make sure that through South Caucasus and Georgia we have a traffic of goods from Asia to Europe, the European Union. It is beneficial to Georgia and the EU. What we need to do now is to start all these very ambitious economic projects, pipelines, roads, and ferry terminals in order to make it happen.

So, lots of hard work is in front of us. We just had Commissioner Várhelyi’s visit two weeks ago in Georgia. Those issues have been discussed with the Georgia government, and, as European Union, we are planning to move fast-forward in order to make sure that these physical connections between Georgia and the wider region, to the European Union will materialize as soon as possible”, - said Pawel Herczynski.
