“We have been watching Georgian politics for 30 years, we start every election with hope, with the hope that we will be saved now, that what happens in normal and civilized countries will begin…

We elect presidents by a majority, almost unanimously, and then we start destroying that leader every time.

The same is happening now as it was 30 years ago. The assassination of president [Zviad] Gamsakhurdia was the result of a great betrayal, a betrayal in which his entourage and enemies participated equally. Then common sense did not win, we killed the president!

Yes, we all killed him together, regardless of whether who was a supporter or an opponent, he was killed by betrayal, which accompanied the processes, as a Georgian phenomenon.

The same scenario is written for [Mikheil] Saakashvili, both here and in the Russian special services, just like during Gamsakhurdia, then and now the president elected by the majority is being killed by the hands of Georgians.

There is an Arabic proverb: “What happens once does not necessarily happen a second time, and if it happens twice, it will definitely happen a third time and many more times”. The third could be [Bidzina] Ivanishvili, if Saakashvili is not given the right to save his life in time, I am sure of that and with all my heart I do not want that to happen...

Political vendetta and revenge must end! Hopefully, the time will come and Saakashvili himself will say who convinced him to come to Georgia, who gave him guarantees that he would not find himself in this situation, “there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed”.

Let’s all think, make a point, start from a clean sheet in this difficult time and full of many challenges for the country. Then it will be too late, then we won"t be able to stop the avalanche that will take us away, and this is the scenario that our enemy is setting up!
