After the preliminary assessment of the Venice Commission on the Electoral Code, the Parliament starts the second reading of the draft law. Legislators will discuss the issue at the Legal Affairs Committee.

According to the majority, the conclusion is positive and the Parliament will consider the presented recommendations. The part of the opposition, which has been boycotting working groups until now, is planning to join the process.

In the first reading, the Parliament adopted the draft law on October 5, after which the amendments were sent to the Venice Commission.
