Mikheil Saakashvili’s trial postponed for December 14

The trial of Mikheil Saakashvili, has been postponed. According to the decision of judge Giorgi Arevadze, the session has been scheduled for Wednesday, December 14, 11:00.

At today’s session, lawyers of the former president submitted a motion to involve him in the sitting remotely.

“Since Mikheil Saakashvili is unable to personally attend the session due to his health condition, he should be involved remotely. It was for this reason that the session has been postponed, in order to ensure the aforementioned technically, and also because the judge needed time to familiarize himself with the case materials”, - explained Shalva Khachapuridze.
