Deputies will approve one of the 12 recommendations of the European Commission - changes in the Election Code - at the Parliament’s extraordinary session this week.

Before that, the bill will be discussed at the Legal Affairs Committee.

A part of the opposition does not support the draft law, while a part considers that the amendments made to the law are a step forward.

After the conclusion of the OSCE/ODIHR and the Venice Commission, more than 10 changes were made to the project.

According to the draft law, the parliamentary elections of 2024 will be held largely by electronic system. Also, the control over the use of administrative resources will be tightened, there are changes in the appeal deadlines.
