Bilateral cooperation agenda between Georgia and Armenia in trade, economy, transit and transport was discussed at the meeting between the Georgian Foreign Minister and his Armenian counterpart.

Ilia Darchiashvili and Ararat Mirzoyan emphasized the importance of the latest meeting of the joint Intergovernmental Economic Commission and expressed their satisfaction with its results, the Georgian foreign office said.

The meeting noted the newly signed agreement on simplified border crossings between the two countries, which will allow their citizens to use biometric identification cards for cross-border travel.
